Candle-making Classes with Sybs

If you’ve ever wondered how candles are made, there’s no better or fun way to learn than a Sybs candle-making class.

This April you’re invited to be enveloped in the world of all things Sybs, all your burning questions answered, and just maybe your oratory dreams come to life.

In this intimate and cosy class (limited to 10 people), I’ll guide you through sampling and blending your own unique scent. You’ll explore an extensive range of single-note fragrance oils, each handpicked to stir something. Whether you’re craving musky, smokey, skin-on-skin scents, or something light, fruity, and sweet enough to get to third base, there will be a combination calling your name.

Sybs candlemaking classes are all about play and permission. You’ll be encouraged to try everything, follow your curiosity, and trust your nose without fear of fucking it up. Get lost in the moment. Let your nose holes and your hopes for candle season guide you.

You’ll then create a 250g soy candle to take home. Burn it with a lover, a situationship, or just yourself in a silk robe. 

While your candles set, you’ll be treated to some of the most delicious goodies in town. This is the perfect time to ask questions, get insider sybs secrets, share your most salacious gossip and make friends with your classmates in a way no other candlemaking class allows.

And of course, the most important part of candle-making: the name. I’ll encourage you to name your candle something unexpected, yearning, unhinged, or deeply romantic. A name that challenges the nose-to-brain-to-heart pipeline.

Sybs candlemaking classes are hosted at Residium in Parnell, Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland.

Cancellations & Ticket Transfers

If you are unable to attend for whatever reason, please let me know as soon as possible.

You will be offered the following options:

• Ticket transfer to an alternative date /or
• A Sybs gift voucher to be used at a later date /or
• A full refund to your original method of payment (can take 5 business days to process)

In the event that you notify me of your non-attendance on the day of the class, unless you are unwell I will not be able to offer any of the above.

If you don't show up to the class you've booked without notification, unfortunately I will not be able to offer any of the above.
