The Woods - Premium Soy Candle by Sybs
The Woods is the king of sybs.
It's being alone surrounded by dense woodland, damp trees and cold air in midwinter, and freshly chopped wood that you've spent all day stacking and finally dragging yourself inside to sit by the fire with drinks that thaw and burn your insides.
It also smells like 3am in winter, walking along Karangahape rd, sometimes hand in hand, sometimes not, wearing far too little clothing for the weather but the adrenaline and the intoxication of being around each other and in the night means you don't notice until you're enveloped in their warmth when they stop, pull you down to sitting, your head on their shoulder, breathing them in, dizzy.
The Woods is a deep, chill, classic woody scent.

Care Instructions
How to ensure you get the most out of your candle and ensure your own and other's safety:
- Ensure you light your candle on a heatproof surface and with no hazards such as curtains, plants or paper close by.
- It's also important to minimise the amount of breeze, particularly for the first burn.
- The first time you light your candle, ensure that you allow it to burn long enough to melt right to the edges of the candle jar. This prevents tunnelling and means that your candle will always melt to this point.
- Never leave your candle unattended, particularly around children and pets.
- Do not burn your candle for longer than four hours at a time.
- Ensure that you trim your wick to approximately 5mm in length before you light it, to prevent smoke and an overly large flame.
For wood wick candles only:
- When you first light your wood wick, you'll want to turn it on it's side and run the flame of a lighter (not a match) along the top of the wick to ensure an even catch.
- It's likely you will need to do this two-three times before it lights properly.
